Imagine yourself spending time with someone at a mall. You treat them by buying them things, serving them with lunch, and watching a film together. Well, this ‘someone’ is not your friend or sibling, or any relative of yours. How would you feel? That was what happened to students of SMP Islam Tugasku on Wednesday (August 6th, 2025) in Traktir Adik Yatim. We had a quality time with adik-adik yatim from Panti Yauma.
A group consists of 5 or 6 students was responsible to treat their adik yatim, from having fun playing the arcade games, fulfilling their necessities (clothes, stationery, shoes, bag, etc.), having a tasty lunch, then completed by watching a superhero movie together.
“It was tiring (to walk a lot in a mall) yet very fun! It feels like we were so closed with adik yatim. I feel so happy because we can do something useful and I become care to them,” said Anin (7B).
This annual event has come to its fifth edition. Hopely its benefits reach more and more adik yatim in the future. So, for the students to be always grow their compassion in their heart.
